Booking:
This booking form is valid for 10 days. Reservation is made for a specific number of people, which determines the price on page 1.
Booking confirmation :
You will find on page 1 of this document our best offer for your stay. In order to confirm your booking, please fill in and sign the form and return it to us via email. We also ask for a down payment of 25%, to be paid via bank transfer to our Swedish Bank account (details are on the last page).
Payment:
The remaining amount of your stay is to be paid (also via bank transfer) 30 days before your arrival.
Cancellation policy :
Flarken Adventure has the right to modify or cancel activities if circumstances made them impossible or dangerous (not enough snow, stormy or very bad weather, major force, etc…)
Cancellation stays at Flarken Adventure’s own discretion.
The 25% advance payment will be reimbursed without any other compensation.
In case of a cancellation from your side, the 25% advance will not be reimbursed, even if for medical reasons.
All cancellation within 30 days of the stay will make you lose the entire amount of your stay.
Our activities start at a defined time. Any lateness on your side that will result in the shortening an activity will not be compensated.
Responsability :
Given the unique nature of our services, each participant is to comply with Flarken Adventure’s guides/mushers’ instructions. Any breaking of a rule could result in a participant’s exclusion of the activity if his/her behaviour is deemed dangerous by the guide.
Also, each participant commits to inform Flarken Adventure of any health problems or physical condition that could impact the activities (heart problems, allergies, diabetes, Reynaud’s syndrome, hip prosthesis, or even pregnancy) through this form (see bottom) or through email later on.
Flarken Adventure cannot be held responsible for any accidents or damage (physical and/or material) that resulted from a reckless personal initiative.
Insurance and physical condition :
Flarken Adventure has a professional insurance. However, you must make sure you have a traveling insurance covering third party as well as medical evacuation & repatriation.
By signing this document, you state that you don’t have any medical condition that forbids physical activities. Any participant who does not have a sufficient physical condition can be denied some activities.

Consent for use of audiovisual material :
In order to promote our activities, we regularly take photos and videos.
Please indicate on page 5 whether or not you authorise Flarken Adventure to share this photos and/or videos of you on social media or our website. This authorisation extends to Flarken Adventure’s partners (travel agencies).
Arrival and transfers :
BY PLANE:
Flarken Adventure offers a free transfer from Skellefteå airport and Jörn train station to the guest house where you are staying. For our organisation, we prefer an arrival on the 3.35 pm flight and a departure on the 1.35 pm flight on Fridays. On Sundays, flights are less frequent; hence it is complicated to set a time. But please try to avoid arriving on the 10.30 pm flight as it is almost always late and it makes us arrive at the guest house at around 1 – 1.30 am.
We try to make only one trip to the airport per arrival/departure day so if all the participants do not arrive at the same time, you might have to wait for some time at the airport.
It takes about 2 hours from the time you land to the time we arrive at the guest house. Therefore, for all arrivals after 8 pm (at Skellefteå airport), diner will not be served. You will however be offered some snacks.
On the departure day, the shuttle to the airport will depend on the first departures. As a result, we might drop you a few hours before your flight.
We do not offer the shuttle for the 6.30 am flight from Skellefteå. If you take this flight, a taxi will be at your cost.
BY TRAIN :
If you arrive by night train from Stockholm on Friday or Sunday mornings, please plan to bring something for your lunch and be aware that the guest house won’t be available before mid-afternoon. You can stay at the base camp in the meantime.
If you leave with the night train, departures have to be on Thursday night for our Friday to Friday trips and on Saturday nights for Sunday to Sunday trips.
Accomodation :
You will stay in one of our guest houses. They all have 3 double rooms with 2 single beds, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room.
The overnights in the wild will be in camps, without running water and electricity and with dry toilets.
Food :
We prepare all the meals, so if you have any dietary requirements, please indicate it on page 5.
Included in your stay :
– Shuttle from Jörn train station or Skellefteå airport to your guest house (and back)
– Accommodation in guest houses or camps
– All the meals from dinner on arrival day to breakfast on departure day
– Lending of equipment: Winter boots, sleeping bags, winter parkas, chapkas, mittens, bags,
etc…Please note we do not have equipment for small children.
